How can I add an HTML block for members to post content on to their profile? This is things like music players, videos, custom graphics they they have made... Etc

Ive tested this and it didnt work. I have a member who would like to add a media player code to his profile so when someone views it, they will hear his internet radio station.

Snafu,

not sure if this is the answer you want, but i see you are getting nowhere. there is a setting in the admin panel to allow the users to edit their profiles. as to exactly what extent, you would have to create a test account and dabblel with that. at one point this was back with Dolphin 6.1.2 or something, there was a site that had bling for dolphin profiles.

so i would say this, create a test account, and give it a go, on exactly what you can change on the profile. as for adding players and that whatnot, i dont think dolphin has this capability. you may be able to get with Rayz and see if he can scratch you something together as a module for that.

This is what I understood, any way just a suggestion..

i do believe we have said the same thing, from a different angle. although his inquiry was unclear, therefore leaves us guessing what he really wanted.

Thanks for the responses guys. My apology for not getting back quickly.

This is what Im looking for:

I will use Myspace as a reference. When you are editing your profile, you are able to add HTML/CSS in the About Me and other sections. This allows members to post live streams, photos, videos and many other HTML related content otherwise known as "Myspace Codes".

Through Dolphin, I have yet to find a way to add that type of feature.

Newton, I saw your attached file. It looks like you inserted that so everyone can hear. But, YOU as the Admin put theat code there. I want the members to have an HTML area available to them so they can do the same on their profile.

I hope this clears my crazy idea's up guys!
