Why does the option to befriend continue to display after you befriend someone.  That option should disappear all together or switch to unfriend option.

Now that is definitely something I agree on. The befriend option should not be displayed to a member you have already added or requested to be your friend.

Should at least slap this in as an enhancement request if nothing else.

Agree and same idea should apply for Join in Groups.

I installed RC2 and migrated from 6.1.6 to RC2. I checked all my friends' pages and they all still show "Befriend" in their action block.  

It was really sad to see this defect getting rejected. I am pretty sure most of my site users will complain about it :(

As for me, I think that BoonEx is right...

aww.. okay I understand MichelSwiss but I don't understand why it's a big deal to change from "Befriend" to "Remove" in action block if they're already friends.  Plus it's much easier to remove a friend from his/her profile than going to Dashboard/Activity/Friends. Not everyone might understand this concept.

I liked the idea of having a 'remove' link. So, if Boonex thinks it does not makes sense performance-wise, to do a check on each profile load, it's a good idea to have a 'BeFriend' and a 'Remove/UnFriend' button. So clicking those buttons explicitly calls their respective functions.

But still the better and correct way would be to change the title of the 'befriend' to 'unfriend' as suggested by OP.

OK! I've been looking all morning for this feature.. so it's not in the program yet? A "Remove Friend" option, or "Unfriend" option? A few users want to clean up their friend's list.. and they can't figure out how to do so..
