Hello.

I was working on my website when all of the sudden, it logged me out and then I lost the webpage, I could not even see my website. I can however access it from my iphone and home pc just not my work pc. I get error saying:

Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to www.habibimatrimonials.com

Suggestions:

·                     Try reloading: www.habibimatrimonials.com

I have read the few suggestions on Boonex but nothing yet has helped. I can access other websites no problem. Anyone has any insight?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

if work pc is not at home where the other one is working, try to see if your IP was blocked...The same happened to me and my staff before...

Thank you for your quick reply! How would I tell if it was blocked?

Now, when you say "work PC," do you mean another computer in your house, or a computer at another physical location where you work?

It is actually my work pc meaning at another location. (Where I physically work.) I thought maybe it was a temporary issue but this happened yesterday.

I tried to restart and refresh my webpage.  Thank you.

If it's being blocked at your place of work, it means either your superiors or the IT department at your business has blocked the site from being viewed. If this is the case, you'd need to petition for your superiors to unblock the site, or just get back to work.

I dont think that is the problem because it would say something different like, "This site is being blocked by XYZ Company."  There are no real blocks on sites from our work. There used to be and I know what it says when it is blocked.

I had problems with it being down last night while at home but did come back on shortly after.

And I just brought in a quarter of a million dollar company so I can play now!

Perhaps the IP address is being blocked by your hosting provider. In all, this seems to be a hosting issue, though, so I'd recommend harassing your hosting provider regarding what's happening.

The host of the site might have blocked your IP, its common now as lots of hosts are stopping multiple connections to a site from one PC. Please note that inc number of windows open on your PC to that site. I.E if you have 6 windows open to the site no matter if it is different pages it will count a 6 concurrent connections to the server the site is hosted on.  On my servers if one computer has more then 5 connections to a site the system blocks that IP address. Most have so many windows open to the same website that the server sees that IP as a risk.

Hi,

anyway, to check if it s blocked you may have to contact your hosting company.

However, if you do have access to WHM, go there, to the ConfigServer Security&Firewall, then go to "quick deny IP" and check if your IP is in that list. You may then proceed to remove it by clicking the botton "flush all block", but be aware that this will unblock all IP, even the ones that my actually be a threat to your site. If you have some suspicious IP, put them in the black list of permantly blocked, and then flush.

Also, to prevent this from happening again, you may add your IP (all of them) to the white list, this means they will naver be blocked no matter how many concurrent IP connections you show.

You may not how to do it, but anyway, if you need to check your IP go to: http://whatismyip.org/

Hope it helps.
