hi deano, (this question also applies to your other connect mods as well) in the description it says:

Allows for the selection of 3 possible usernames to avoid user name conflict,

does this mean just from the information pulled from their twitter account, or do they have the option to choose a completely different username (i only use nicknames on my site, not first or last names),

many thanks, steve

This is how it works. By default the first option is set to use the First name as the Nickname. The second set to use Firstname_Last name and the 3'rd to use Last name. It will use which ever is available starting with the first one. If that one is not available it will try the second one. And if that is not available it will try the 3'rd.

If the option to auto prompt for nickname is on and all 3 auto selected nicknames are in use then it will prompt the user for one.

There is also a option to force prompting for nickname as well as a number of other fields as shown in the screen shots.

So yes, you can configure it to prompt for a nick name. All 4 of my connect mods have a prompting system.

Anyone who needs to upload their site icon for this twitter app, it needs to be 73 x 73 pixels.
