Emails from site with no sender name

When I receive emails from my site I see no sender name (From field). The subject line and content are fine and correct, but the sender is absent.

One of members mentioned this too. It is not happening to everybody, because I see it on my laptop at work (winXP) but not on my desktop at home (win7)

Help would be most appreciated.

This is not good, do you think this is a host issue? But you know on my Blackberry it was not an issue? Nor on my laptop at work (XP)

So what could be causing something like this, I wonder? It is so bizzare? Do you think it is Anti-Virus software?

Did you checked basic settings in admin panel

Check "Site Email Notify" filed.

Right now i get your mail from ********.joombyte.com.

It is one of my own email address in that field. Both fields contain my emails. They are differetn email addresses but both are mine - one is Admin@  and the other noreply@

yes, why. Not a good idea? it is only a name; noreply for all the system cares it could be called donkey. Should not affect anything.

I think before accepting a mail from a address it is checked that it even exist in the dns. So, my advise is that it should be created in cpanel. I am not sure about it but what is the problem in creating a mail in cpanel. It won't harm your site.

I have requested the host to see if there is anything they know. If you find out something please advise.

I tested sending emails from within the domain and between two different domains - all ok. No issues maybe it is Dolphin or something bizzare. I need to fix this. All the emails generated via the system giving this problem

Igor from Boonex was able to solve my problem regarding this issue. I just wanted to post in case someone else ever faced this problem.

He unchecked the STMP option in the module and this resolved it.

Thank you Igor and the rest.
