Hi Folks,

I got my api key and inputted it into the module for fb connect. Now when i am on my website and choose the auth type: facebook connect i get the following page displayed:

I now keep getting a loop, when i select use facebook connect, then after i enter my FB credentials, it just keeps looping. Can some one assist as to why?

What version are you using? I guess FB connect that comes with 7.0.2 had some issues but were resolved in 7.0.3, search the forum for svn link for the fix....

I tried looking for the SVN link which i found for the files but can not download them. As in i have the website where to download the files from but no topion there to download.

The forums talk about downloading a SVN client that will allow me to download the files but no where do they talk about how to get the SVN client.

Please advise.

Well i installed the software. It is meant for Windows explorer. The actual files are located on the following website:

http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/browser/trunk/modules/boonex/facebook_connect

The software Tortoise SVN is a shell program for Windows explorer. Has no option to download files from that website. Please advise how i can download the files from that website.

To use Tortoise SVN, create a folder on your desktop. Right click on that folder, go to Tortoise SVN on the menu and repo browser.

Use this URL when prompted. svn://svn.boonex.com/dolphin/trunk/modules/boonex/facebook_connect

Use user name of guest and password of guest when prompted.

Drag the facebook connect folder to your new folder. It will download the files for you.

Thank you for both your help. I was able to succesfully download the files from the repo website.

Now i shall try uninstalling and installing the module agian and hopefully this time around it shall work.

I hope you don't run into a problem. But the proper procedure would be to uninstall the existing FB connect before you upload the new files to the server.
