How to block default mobile app access?

I would like to block the default mobile software (iphone and android apps) developed by Dolphin to access my website. How can I do this? I only want my own mobile apps to access it.

Are you guys saying that ANYONE who has the mobile apps can access ANY site they wish (as long as they know the site address/url?)

I also remember that some were complaining because you can not create an acct on a site from the mobile apps, you must first create your acct on the site and then you will be able to login from the mobile app.  So if this is true, how are people accessing your site from the mobile apps (if they are not already members of your site)?

The easiest solution I guess would be to send some unique ID on login step, so if this ID is not received like from default app, user will not be able to login.

Come on, we are living in XXI century with 3D-laser projectors and drilling holes on another planets, even creating account from Dolphin app has been developed already :)

Sorry, bump.

At the moment, you are able to use the Boonex Generic Mobile app (Android / iOS) to access any dolphin site.

Any method to block this access?

Thanks!

You can just rename (or remove) /xmlrpc/ folder, this folder contains files which are used by mobile apps only.

Amputate an arm when you have a scratch on a finger is not a solution, I think.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
