I would like to integrate my Dolphin module with the Spy module. Can any one explain how to get this to work?
I've created a BxDolAlerts object and alerted, but that doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing I need to add something to bx_spy_handlers, but can't figure it out.
Any help? Thanks! |

After some searching, I figured this one out. The basic steps are:
- implement a get spy data service
- update the spy handlers on installation
- implement a get spy post service
If any one wants more details, please let me know. I don't mind helping out. |

The whole post got a little too long, so I decided to just put it in an article on my blog:

Let me know if something's unclear. |

Awesome article, I think *WE* all developers here at Boonex should start to share more amongst ourselves and this way it will lead to faster development instead of reverse engineering each step and figuring out individually....good start pbackx :) http://bit.ly/lFK9Am -> Best Facebook and Twitter Mod - Combo Package |

As a mod buyer, I would LOVE to see every module designer integrate with Dolphin's Spy system and I'd love to see that integrate with my IDBW Spywall. One of the most frustrating things on our site is that the Wall that is supposed to show all activity on the site doesn't actually do this!
I'd like to encourage designers to make their modules even more enticing by adding this! |
