Will profile thumb pics be migrated into the new D7 avatar system?  Seems like all pics and profile photos were migrated, but all avatars are empty..

Bummer!  because it is a MAJOR hassle to do this through admin (almost impossible - but not quite - there is a thread on this).  Even worse is trying to convince members who have already posted a pic to go an set an avatar - good luck with that!

Avatars are migrated automatically, if it was not migrated for you, please make sure that avatars module is installed and directory permissions for avatars are correct.

Hi, I had the avatar module configured and then did the import.  The photos all came across, but the thumbnails / avatars did not.  It isn't until you click on the user's profile that you can then see their pics.  I also checked the directory permissions and they are fine.  If I log into my account I can set my avatar after the import, but surely this should have been done at the import as I wouldn't expect to ask all members to log in and do this?

Hi, just wanted to post an update.  Did a complete re-install with latest version and made sure I applied the avatar module before the import.  I can confirm this definitely does not work still and avatars are not set / migrated automatically.

 i can confirm too, avatar are imported in the director /modules/boonex/avatar/data/images/ correctly, BUT was not set in the profiles fields, during migration....

In old migration module was little trouble with some config value

Try to reinstall and start again the profiles transfer!

Are you saying the avatar migration and setting worked for you?

I already deleted dolphin beta8, too many bugs, I'll just wait for next beta or RC and do more testing after current issues are resolved, and theres plenty of them
