facebook connect too many redirects

Hi everyone.. 

I am facing issues with the facebook connect. The error is too many redirects. I have set the right api and secret key in admin fb connect settings. I understand some fixes had been done long back regarding the same and the latest download of 7.1 would have it incorporated. Any idea what this could be and how to resolve it?

Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Any replies?  I am having the same problem.

Although in my case it is sporadic.  Problem usually goes away by uninstalling fbconnect and deleting facebook application, but seems to reoccur randomly.

Any ideas?

Are you guys using the default facebook connect or Deano's facebook connect?  If you're using the default facebook connect, then thats a really bad idea and is probably the main reason why you're having such issues.  If you use Deano's facebook connect, all headaches & problems will instantly go away.
