is it possible to make a frontpage wall like facebook?

I would also like to know if this is possible.

I have searched through the current mods and forum posts anc come up empty handed.

Does anyone have anything to offer that could achieve this, where a used is forced to login before proceeding with anything on the site?

At the moment no.... There was some long time ago a mod but have no found it.
And version 7 wil have a wall, but how it will look, we have to wait for a downloadble beta version.
