in all fairness to the iphone app, have you experienced the same behavior on other dolphin sites, or only on your monstrosity? 

DOS clearly you did not look at the post or you misread it as the issue has nothing to do with my site or how big it is, it has everything to do with having 120 friends and trying to choose one to send a letter to.  How would that have anything to do with my as you call it monstrosity?     If I had but one module with 120 friends the logic would dictate that the result would be the exact same as the app can't load the friends list to choose one from the compose portion of the app..........  All the friends load in the friends portion of the site which is very cool and proves it is not a size issue as that takes quite a bit more to load that complete list vs being able to just choose one which appears to crash the app within a second.........

I don't know if you fixed the problem but I was having trouble with my IGod I don't know if this will help but I found that when you down load apps from the app store from the phone it self instead of itunes it causes all sorts of problems so what I had to do is delete everything from the IGod and plugged into itunes back-up update then reinstall everything then problems solved
