This mod requires a facebook application be setup at https://developers.facebook.com/apps - This MUST BE PROPERLY SETUP. Use these screen shots as a guide. http://www.deanbassett.com/images/facebook_screenshots/ The module will not function correctly if the facebook application is not properly configured.
The photo import feature of this module has specific requirements. Imports will not work if moderation settings are set to either require email validation or admin approval of accounts. Also the import has compatibility problems with some modules from ilbellodelweb such as the megaprofile mod. Any module that either changes or replaces the default functionality of the avatar or photo modules could prevent the photo importer from working. In these cases, the photo import feature must be turned off.
If you have never setup the default boonex version of facebook connect, you should do that first. It will verify your site meets the requirements for the facebook connect module.

Features
- Prompts for extended permissions to obtain Email Address if member grants permission.
- Allows for the selection of 3 possible usernames to avoid user name conflict.
- Has built in backup to backup members Facebook id's and module settings.
- Facebook ID field added to member profile information. Allows existing accounts to be tied to a Facebook ID.
- Existing dolphin accounts will be tied to a Facebook account automatically when logging in with Facebook if the email address used in dolphin matches the email address used with Facebook.
- Allows for redirect to different pages on join and logon.
- If redirecting on join, cropping tool will be skipped and avatar will be cropped automatically.
- Includes a required profile nag page that can be disabled or set to bug member at preset hourly intervals about missing profile fields.
- Adds Facebook photo to members profile photos.
- Auto friend adding. A list of member id's can be provided that will be automatically added as friends of the newly created account.
- Separate email templates for auto activated members and for those requiring confirmation. The sending of these messages are determined by the moderation setting in dolphin as it is with the standard signup procedure.
- Pulls the following information from Facebook if available.
- Email Address
- Primary Photo
- Date of Birth
- About Me
- Sex
- Name
- Home Town
- Relationship Status
- Favorite Films
- Favorite Music
- Favorite Books
- Interests
- Country
- Nickname and password sent to new users via the email templates when account is created.
- You can now select what Facebook permissions you want Facebook connect to prompt for.
- Import of Facebook photo albums.
- You can also just have the Facebook info passed to the standard dolphin join form and dolphin can finish the signup process as normal.
- NOTE: This feature not available on dolphin 7.0.0

The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL (http://blackberrypinpal.com/modules/?r=deanos_facebook_connect%2Flogin_form) must be in the same domain or be in a subdomain of an application's base domain (www.blackberrypinpal.com). You can configure the base domain in the application's settings.
