Thanks Esase for the great mod! I installed it on 7.0.4 and is working good too! Can anyone tell me which file to edit to change the notification text to the right of the input box so I can make it say something custom. I have not rated support only because I have not had Esase work on anything for me yet, but I am sure it would be 5 as well :-)

People who really don't know, this mod is probably the most needed mod out there. This type mod is a security MUST!

Exactly what I've been looking for - this should be a core component of an original Dolphin installation. This is working on our 7.0.4 version. Keep up the good work!

This is indeed a feature that should have been included by default in dolphin 7, as such it's value is 5 stars hands down (especially since its free). Unfortunately a trivial and very small bug in the code causes it to work aggressively and filter ALL nicknames. As such the 5th star is missing from Quality as the work is really there, but the bug prevents it from working, and accuracy at two since it fails to do what it advertises to do.

Until Esase releases a bug fix here's how to fix it yourselves:

IF see more YOU HAVENT INSTALLED IT YET:
Open esase/nickname_filter/install/sql/install.sql
On the fifth line locate --- BxDolService::call(''nickname_filter'', ''check'', $arg0)
and replace it with --- BxDolService::call(''nickname_filter'', ''check'', array($arg0))

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED IT:
Do the steps above in case you need to uninstall it/reinstall it later on then
Go to your administration panel -> Builders -> Profile Fields and click on the NickName item (on the Join Form section)
Click the Advanced link
In the field "Check" replace once again BxDolService::call(''nickname_filter'', ''check'', $arg0) with BxDolService::call(''nickname_filter'', ''check'', array($arg0))
