Head Injections

Requires source code changes to inc\classes\BxDolTemplate.php

This product contains a module and instructions for source changes to inc\classes\BxDolTemplate.php

The Per Page Head Injections mod allows you to inject additional code such as meta tags,
script and style tags into the head section of any dolphin page. Except for the orca forums as noted below.

Pages are matched by their current title. The title is currently the only tag within
the head that can be overridden.

You can insert any other information into the head such as.

<meta name="description" content="This is just a sample description." />
<meta name="keywords" content="keywords, sample, injection, test" />
<meta name="author" content="Dean J. Bassett Jr." />

NOTE: This product will not work as expected in the Orca Forums. All forum topics have the same title from a source code point of view. The forums change the title on the fly via javascript which this mod cannot detect.

Wow! I love this mod!
Finally I have total control over all my title tags, meta tags, etc.
This is definitely going to give me a big boost in the SERPS!
The search engines love to see unique and keyword rich (not stuffed) tags for each page.
I can't wait to see my site jump up in the ranks! Thanks Dean! This is an absolute must have!

this is a must have mod for any dolphin site as dolphin is not a very good script when it comes to SEO.

$_page['header'] is PHP code. I think you are misunderstanding the use of this module.

This mod is an absolute must to any and every webmaster. Websites are all about traffic. Traffic comes from the search engines.. I was EXTREMELY concerned about all the duplicate title, descriptions and keywords, until i purchased this mod. It does everything a webmaster needs, to meet the SEO demands in the highly competitive search engine results arena. When I am done injecting all my pages I will feel MUCH more at ease about allowing the indexing bots to cache my site, with the new community see more content linked to it. My site ranks well for all my main keywords and I was afraid the duplicate meta tags would diminish my rankings, but not anymore.

The install was very easy and the mod works perfectly.

Dean, I like the operation of the Mod, works well. Only thing I am not seeing is the title tag to overide the default. Any ideas? I cleaned the cache. Still a good product.

There is a suport forum for the mod. http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Head-Injections-Support-Forum-.htm Override of title works with all my tests so i cannot duplicate problem. Discuss further in support forum. Reviews are not designed for support.

My page titles change for each of the profiles on the site. I wanted to use a RegEx pattern to match the each of the profile page titles. Can your product do this.

I consider this an essential module for developing and maintaining a site. It works as advertised and is very good for placing custom SEO <title> and <meta> info into any page. Another important aspect of this module is the Support Forum provided and maintained by the developer. I have several of deano's modules... I'm happy with all of them.
