Auto Join Event

The mod allows your members to Join Events on the site upon registration. There are two methods to do this :

METHOD A - AUTO JOIN EVENT

With the Auto Join method, the site administrator can setup categories of members who will be automatically assigned to specified events upon joining the site. There are several criteria that can be used to identify members that will belong to a particular category.

These criteria are :

a) Age
b) Country of residence
b) City of residence
c) Gender
d) Language

Each category can be assigned to one or multiple Events.

For example, Administrator could setup the site so that all males aged 50 and above would automatically become participants of an event called "Health Fair in October for Golden Agers" etc.


METHOD B - SELECT EVENT ON JOIN PAGE

With this method, there is a select box on the join form which gives members the choice to select which events they want to join. This list is automatically updated whenever new events are added to the site or existing events are edited/deleted.

Administrator can decide whether or not only events that are created by the administrator appear in the selection list.
