GiveAways (FreeCycle)

This module allows your site members to Give and Get free stuff.

There are lots of items that people are willing to give away for FREE instead of putting them out in the garbage. The aim is to encourage recycling.
 
Members can post items they want to give away or post requests for items they want.

There are no charges for getting items. Once someone register on the site, they will be able to look for items within their local area and request them from the Owner. Multiple requests from different persons can be sent to owner of an item. The request form allows members to state why they need the item. Item owners are notified of each request made. All requests are listed on the Item view page and the owner has the ability to choose who they will give the item to. Once the owner confirms who will recieve the item, it is flagged as awarded and both parties can then make arrangements for delivery.

LOCALIZATION

You can drill down Items based on location. An additional section is included which lists all Countries in the world. Upon selection of a Country, all regions in that Country are displayed. Upon selection of a Region, the items available at that location are displayed.

Items in My Area - Displays the Items located in the same City that the member is located.

My Items - Displays the Items posted by the member.

Item Location Block - Displays information such as Country, State, Address etc for the Item.

The mod includes a listing of States/Regions for all Countries. When adding an Item, the State field is automatically populated upon selection of a Country.
