Meetup

A Meetup is a Group of People with a common interest (eg. Recycling, Animal Rights, etc). This module facilitates the meetup of people with shared interests to plan meetings and form offline clubs in local communities around the world.

MEETINGS

Meetup Groups usually organize regular meetings to discuss matters related to their goal. Meeting section allows posting of information such as date, location, what will be discussed etc.

Meetup Admin can now post news items about a particular meetup.


MEETUP SPONSORS

Many Meetup Groups have Sponsors that contribute to them. Meetup Admin can now highlight and promote those Sponsors by listing them on the Meetup page.

PERKS

Sponsors can offer Perks to Group members. This can be in the form of store discounts, free tickets etc.

MEETUP VENUES

Meetup Groups usually physically meet at particular venues for Meetings etc. Meetup Admin can now list those Venues on the Meetup page.

INTEGRATED GOOGLE MAPS

Google maps with street view on Meetup view and main pages that shows all Meetup Groups.

SOCIAL SHARING

Allows sharing of the Meetup on Twitter, Facebook and other popular networks

ACCESS RESTRICTION
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Adds the ability for members to create "Invitation Only" Meetup. Access can be restricted to Members only and the Meetup Admin will have to send an Invitation for others to Join. The Invitation will be delivered to both Internal and External mail and will have an Accept Invite link.

LOCALIZED DRILL-DOWN

You can do a drill down search for Meetup Groups based on location. A section is included which lists all Countries in the world. Upon selection of a Country, all regions in that Country are displayed. Upon selection of a Region, the Meetup Groups located at that location are displayed.

ACCOUNT PAGE

Meetup Groups in My Area - Block on the account page displays the Meetup Groups located in the same City that the member is located.

MEETUP VIEW PAGE

Organizers Block - Lists all Meetup Group Admins.
More Local Meetup Block - This lists other Meetup Groups located in the same City as the Meetup being viewed.
Other Meetup by member Block - This lists other Meetup Groups posted by the creator of the Meetup being viewed.
Meetup Sponsor Block - Displays information for all Sponsors of the Meetup Group.
Perks Block - Displays summary details for Perks offered by the Sponsors
Meetings Block - Displays summary details for upcoming meetings
Meeting Calendar Block - Calendar shows dates of Group Meetings.

PAID FEATURED MEETUP

This is an optional feature that allows a Site Administrator to charge fees for Featuring Meetup Listings.

Admin can set the cost per day for a listing to remain featured.

BROADCASTING

The Broadcasting feature allows sending of messages to meetup group members.

INVITATION

Members can invite other members or external friends to join a Meetup Group.

MEMBERSHIP FILTER

Includes the ability to limit joining of an individual Meetup Group to a particular Membership Level.

Includes the ability to limit viewing of an individual Meetup Group to a particular Membership Level or limit viewing to Meetup Admins only.

MEDIA ACCESS

Admin has the ability to restrict upload of Videos, Photos, Sounds and Files to particular membership levels.

EXTERNAL VIDEO EMBEDDING

Adds the ability to allow members to Embed multiple Youtube Videos.
