Documentation Update

While developers work on 7.0.3 we also decided to re-organize and refresh our Documentation and we need your help. If you go to BoonEx Support page, you'd notice the Documentation (Wiki) link where we have a bunch of documents. One new page that we need help with is:

Beginner's Guide - http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/BeginnersGuide

In this Guide we'd like to compile a number of "First Steps" instructions that would help novice users to understand Dolphin and BoonEx better. If you have any ideas or suggestions - please, either post them in comments, or start a new forum topic (if it needs discussion) or (if you're an Advanced or Premium Member) just add your text to the Wiki. Meanwhile, we're adding and re-factoring other docs.

Once again, if you have time, and knowledge, and don't mind sharing, please help us improve our documentation. Your help is really needed and appreciated.

You've been busy lately.

Add this to beginners guide http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/#topic/Tutorial-with-images-Creating-a-profile-field.htm

I'm not premium so I can't write there. As Magnussoft said, you have been busy. Great man.
Andrew Boon
Advanced can write to Wiki too now.
annabel
Isn't "first steps" described in technical requirements ?
Andrew Boon
Some are, but we want a "quide" to give a broad introduction to everything. 90% of our support is educating newcomers. The whole support thing would have been much better if we had an easy-to-understand intro for freshmen.
hd4real
Ok cool Andrew. I'll add some tutorials when I can.
hd4real
@ annabel, yes there should be a Before you start page with technical requirements
mchauhan

Will Boonex's internal development guidelines be made available on the Wiki?
Andrew Boon
We have this one - http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolphinCodeConvention
We also have some other guidelines, which I will be gradually adding to the Wiki too.
cbassthefish
Thank you. The other guidelines sound interesting too.
