Kill the Greeting Email

I wish that someone will make a change in Greeting. To be honest, I dislike the greeting email thingy. It should be on-site notification and on-site mail if one writes rather than off-site email. The concept I'm referring to is the same as "Poke" on Facebook. You get my drift.
