Description

I am experiencing some serious problems developing templates because I need the latest version of jQuery (1.7.1), but Dolphin has an ancient version - 1.3.2

This must be updated as fast as possible please.

The new version of jQuery is not compatible with Dolphin 7. Serious changes are needed to make them compliant.

If Dolphin code is not working anymore then consider it OBSOLETE.. If it's obsolete than you need to UPDATE the code..

What should we all do if "worksforme" is the way you guys "fix" things.. Should we design mediocre dusty templates just because it "works for you" ???

On my demo website I use the latest jQuery and it works without a hitch..  http://dolphintemplate.com/demo/dolphin7

Really guys, that's not a professional attitude!

Have you updated jQuery UI as well ? have you checked all form elements and all Builders in admin panel ? This is most critical things which are depended on jQuery version, but it maybe many more...

We can't risk to break something in Dolphin 7.0.x versions. So we can afford to update it in future versions only, for example, Dolphin 8 is already using jQuery 1.7.

You know what's funny? You guys did not even tested.. How can you be so sure jQuery doesn't have backward compatibility.. doh

Ill just stop the argumentation, cause I'm wasting my time.. I'll just distribute the latest jquery with the template.
