Have the ability for members to certify other members as real. There are so many fakes online today that any dating community truly needs a way to certify members as real. Basically allow one member to certify another member and display the date they were certified with a small amount of text describing how they know the other member and possibly where and when they may have met them.
Certs can be given to any member but the receiving member would have the option of accepting the other members cert or not as some people like to display they have a lot of certs and other only want one or two. Either way it helps with identifying who may or may not be real online.
I would also suggest that allowing a member to have certs should be controlled by what membership level access they have in the admin side. That way you can also use this as a tool to up sell from a free account.
Unfortunately paying with a credit card today is not a sufficient way of knowing who really is real. However, displaying that a member is a paid member with level of membership combined with certs will certainly increase the chances over regular free members that they are real.
This type of cert is commonly used on sites like we belong to.
Also not everyone wants to use a cam to cam to validate tehy are real with another member.
