Language key

im trying to replace the links in the top nav...

in the builder when i edit an existing link, it asks for a language key, as well as url etc.,

the existing language key is " _name"  of the prior field... example : forums link has _forums for the language key.

what am i to do ? do i simply make it " _new link name"?
