onmouseover - Pictures in Menu

Ok what I am trying to do is to have the main menu (say for instance 'home') bring up a picture using 'onmouseover' (as well as the dropdown to the submenus) I found the java script for it and cant get it to work. I have tried it in header, index, inc files and all template files and nothing seems to work for it. I did find the onmousedown 'hover' to show the hidden box (submenus) but i cant get 'home' to show a picture (cat.jpg) as well.....

Any ideas?

You can try modifying the file in the folder - inc/js/jquery.dolTopMenu.js

Hope this helps you a little. =D

I studied that, but i have no clue as to what to put in. What i need is an image rollover effect.
example:
'home' -> '~home~' on mouse over (the ~ being a small picture.

OR
'home' -> '~~' on mouseover (rollover image of a small image)


I cant actually fing how to tweek the inc/js/jquery.dolTopMenu.js File to do this for 7 different menu items.

Highlight or button press effect is an image rollover, but i cant find that in the script either.

have a look at that page they have some css menu mods some for free. others around 10-20 bucks... maybe buy one then you can learn how it all works. might be the easy way to go ?
