![]() | Sammie, We currently have 2 seperate clusters running the different versions, and have been testing ways to merge the 2 together for a single cluster. The issue isnt the naming of the folders and or script. Its more about binding to the ports and resources from java being available, etc. Regards, CyberXing | ![]() |

![]() | Okay, As they say all GOOD things must come to an end at some point :-) We have officially completed the integration of our 3.1 RMS servers with the 3.5 RMS servers. So now 1 grid serves both product versions. We will be cancelling all the FREE trials, we will start removing the FREE accounts starting today and will finish as time permits. Thanks again for all your support CyberXing | ![]() |

![]() | so there is a different RMS for 3.5 and 3.1 odd, i dont recall seeing this put in writing anywhere. so that probably answers AV/CHAT refuses to work on the sites i have installed. this integration you have done to make the platform work for both 3.1 and 3.5 is that something that is going to be offered, or is that something you are keeping to yourself. i read where you said it was the binding and port assignment, i see where Ray 3.5 is looking for port 10000 and 10080, where as in 3.1 it was running on 1935 and 80? so i have missed a whole line of something somewhere, as i dont recall reading that i needed to install RMS 3.5 if i was running Ray 3.5 but that is logical. So as sammie asked, can you run both 3.1 and 3.5 RMS on one server? I dont have a cluster, but have sites running both versions of ray? later, DosDawg | ![]() |

![]() | cyberxing, was looking for an answer from you regarding running 3.1 and 3.5 RMS? My server support have been trying to get 3.5 installed now for three or so days and not having any luck, keep getting a slew of java errors. They are now asking me which version of java should be installed on the server in order to install 3.5? would still like to know what it was you done to get 3.1 and 3.5 Ray to run from one RMS install? later, DosDawg | ![]() |
