Ad banners / Google AdSense.

This may be a repeat of a previous post, but I have searched and can't find anything.
So anyway, my question is:
I have joined an affiliate program and I would like to display their banner ads on my dolphin site. I have also joined google ads and would like an "ads by google" banner on the site.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I tried using the Banners section under the tools menu but I am not sure how to put the code which includes my affiliate number etc..
Any help will be appreciated as I am new here.

if it is java then the code would need to be placed direct in the database for the banners

How you did it? I made an extra html-Block, with my adsense-code, but it's not working :-(

i also face the same problem while trying to make an adsense block using the Page Builder. The WYSIWYG system used just cannot accept the javasvript code correctly even thought it was put through HTML function.

please suggest how to make it done.

I added google ad on the same location as banner(left, top, right, bottom). Here is how you can add it.

go to file /inc/banners.inc.php

right below

$out .= " <div align=\"center\"> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"{$bann_click_url}?{$arr['ID']}\" onmouseout=\"ce()\" onfocus=\"ss('{$arr['Url']}')\" onmouseover=\"return ss('{$arr['Url']}')\">{$arr['Text']}</a><br />";

add

$out .= "<div id='vu_ytplayer_vjVQa1PpcFM4oitk89sq3rDlnf-smsBOFIKRzS9Q_7Q='><a href='http://www.youtube.com/browse'>Watch the latest videos on YouTube.com</a></div><script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.youtube.com/watch_custom_player?id=vjVQa1PpcFM4oitk89sq3rDlnf-smsBOFIKRzS9Q_7Q='></script>";

this is for google adsense youtube video. you can replace it with your own ad code.

hey guyz. i have sorted out this problem with a simple solution. just make a new html block in the page builder. and click on it. in the message box do not put the code directly instead click html for html editor and paste ur code in it. it will show up.
its workin for my site take a look. www.gokufanclub.com/dolphin/index.php
