Can´t save changes to member profile...

I can´t save changes to member profile. If i try i just receive an empty red "error-box" without a certain message in it.

i am quite sure this used to work before i have updated from 6.0003 to 6.0005. i have checked all the chmod settings - they should be alright. what else could this be?

fill all error boxes with text to find it..

i will guess you made change password mandatory which is a no no..to fix go into phpmyadmin(backup)
go to "profilesdesc" look for password-change password and remove all text from the big inout box and hit go
