Little Idea For Boonex And The Site

While having a conversion with another member, I thought of an idea that maybe Boonex might want to implement...

It's pretty simple and I think members will like it.

I think having a monthly site showcase would be great. Existing members and new members can submit their sites. Other members vote and the winner would have a "Site Of The Month" link..

Lets look at the benefits from both ends.

Boonex would benefit because it will have more members interacting since they want to win. Now you ask, why would anyone want to win, very simple, see below.

Benefit to site owner:

Winning the monthly showcase will expose their site which means more traffic which generates more members. So for example. Let's say I win and my site is about Dolphin support or maybe Dolphin Hosting, the link which exposes my site will be very helpful...

This is just a thought...

	on paper its a great idea, but ive come up with a tiny little problem (sorry) A lot of members here have "rumpy pumpy ive got my wedding tackle on display sites" and a lot of them i guess are well made too, so what do you do if one of these gets nominated.Not everybody appreciates this sort of thing,and some of them can be illegal to view in some "nanny states" (Boring UK for one where i am)So really it would have to be a two tier system, one for content suitable for Minors and one with a warning about content and what country you live in and so on, and then that could lead to another problem of seeming to promote porn on the site... Ooooopppps Nice idea though regards Tyke

	exclude adult oriented material from the entry would solve that. most who run adult oriented, dont really have the time to be in here anyhow. that is a full time job in and of itself. good idea though, i would like to see it and also would like to enter, however, my site is trashy and needs some work, cant seem to find the time to work on my own stuff, from working on others. 	Yeah, in this case, adult sites would have to be excluded, it would be for mainstream sites only since the winner will have a link to their site. This is just a fun little extra for members. I know when people finish their sites, they are excited and would like to show everyone, they would give them that chance..
