New members do not receive email confirmation message 6.0.0004

My outgoing email messages were working fine in version 6.0.0003 but now that I upgraded to version 6.0.0004 new members do not receive their welcome message - so the cannot click the link to confirm their membership.

In advanced settings I have the "New user notify" option checked. What should I do to correct this email problem?

Yes even I am facing this problem. Not only email confirmation, even the mails sent by admin are not getting delivered.

Try to edit it here,
- Settings
- Moderation Settings
- Automatic profile confirmation without Confirmation Email
option checked off here

I followed your suggestion and changed the setting to "Automatic profile confirmation without Confirmation Email
option checked off here" but the new member still does not receive a confirmation message. As administrator I received a message showing a new member had registered but the new member received nothing.

Seems there is a problem with the outgoing mail settings. Do you know where I can find those settings?

I just installed Dolphin and my site does not send out confirmation emails nor does it do mass...something seems wrong with the mail in general

No email, no Periodic Report neither!!
Have you set your cronjob...on tags, notifies and cmd.

My outgoing mail problem is now fixed. I contacted my hosting company and they found that there was duplicate entries for my email address in their database which caused the system to reject all outgoing mail.

All settings are good as well as the cron jobs...still no mail sent out. Is there a small script that will check to see if your server is setup right?
