Problems With Dependable Resources

I been working on a Boonex heavily modded custom project with multiple resources now for many months and while things have painfully taken shape and we are much closer to achieving our goal.

I have been an Internet entrepreneur for nearly 8 years now and launched many sites successfully and this has been the my worst experience of them all for finding timely reliable resources to help and I am just wondering if others have the same challenges I do?

There are a lot of over promising and under achieving guys out there. Some are a little more polished looking on marketing side but when it comes to staying focused and having a consistent batting average I have yet to find anyone here to step up to the plate as a complete professional and do what they say they are going to do..! 

I  know there has to be some good custom development resources out there that know Dolphin. The question is where the heck are they.

Please share your feedback as if anyone else has had these kinds of challenges or if you have some recommendations.
