RMS help please?

Try using your servers IP address instead of rms.lovesarea.com.

Simion is right.
You need to use your server IP address in RMS ->webapps->[widget_name]->WEB-INF->red5-web.properties
Also you need to enter the same IP address in the Ray Base -> settings->RMS address.

i have put in my Ray Base control pannel my server ip adress.
could be more explicit where exactly i have to edit in RMS?

also as i say IM works withthout any problem. only the main chat is not working.

Use the test server to test your server:

http://www.boonex.com/rms.html

And dont use just CHAT, as Chat always shows connection .. Try board etc..

i have put the ip in my RMS and in Ray base. and still not working.
if somebody ( atrusted person) can check this for me , leave a mesage here and i will send the login detailes for my vps !

Have you started the RMS?

open your root with putty.
Use these commands ( in most cases this is correct, pending on where your RMS was installed on youy server this may change):


cd /opt/ray_server/RayServer_3.1.0000

<enter>

./run_daemon.sh

<enter>

Please let me know.

One more thing, Check the chat folder in the RMS itself ( not ray folder in the dolphin) and make sure you have the correct IP assigned.
