Ray license undefined

I have installed  Ad-free Dolphin & Ad-free Orca. Licenses bought and paid for. Along with an installation I never got. Anyhow, I finally got it all working with out Ads etc.. except, when I try to register my Ray music app Ad-free license - I get an "undefined" return. I thought maybe I had installed the Free Ray and needed to install the Ad-free Ray. So, I followed the instructions found at; http://www.boonex.com/trac/ray/wiki/GenRayFAQs

I only uploaded the Ad-free Music player files and installed the module. When it's time to register still "undefined". Please help me. Anyone. If you can.. I desperately would like to get this working.

you need to change the whole ray folder from free to adfree and edit the ray/modules/golbal/inc/header.inc.php to match the setting in inc/header.inc.php
and set the file and folder permissions.

support questions should be in the support forums so people can find what they are looking for. not in the blogs

Now it says not installed. The ray/modules/golbal/inc/header.inc.php calls all info from the inc/header.inc.php already. Am I supposed to be changing file permissions back to 644 and 755 after I copy the ad-free ray to replace all in the free ray?

Thanks for the try for help. It seems I am helpless. I believe my issues reside elsewhere. I have reinstalled everything and got free licenses. Try to register free licenses with the free ray. I still get undefined. I am done. Sorry for posting here. I am moving on.

Sorry to hear about your issues. Being a webmaster and administering a site is not an easy task. Sometimes you need to be patient and set a side your frustrations, whether it be dolphin or any other script. Patience and the will to learn along with the help and wisdom of others will go along way.

Many of us will do what we can to help. Most of us that are active and willing to help do this in our spare time. We do have a life, we do have other projects and we can't help everyone for free 24-7. Although many of us do try our best. We do know the script and know it well. We may not be the actual dolphin coder or programer, but we are familiar with this thing, what makes it tick and think, also what hosting works and what don't.

You may be quick to move on that is ok, but the next script you move on to could be the same story.

Take a look in the forums, ask some questions, and you'll find that many are more than willing to help out.

Good Luck to you!!

I just thought Id post. You are all a big help. I was never going to shy away from Dolphin. When I said " I'm moving on ", I meant that I was going to keep working on the site and comeback to this particular problem later. Anyhow, now all is fixed.

Turns out I had Flash player 10 installed. You need Flash player 9.0..... for Ray Base to work. Good to know. Now all works right.

-Thanks for all the help - never doubted for a moment.

thanx for posting the solution, i am sure this is just one more quirk that will be addressed soon, its the little things like that that boonex need to know about so they can fix it sooner without the need to spend hours trying to find the cause themselves.

thanx again sweetie x
