What I want is exactly this.....

I do not want Boonex News or a Shoutbox on my site. I purchased an AD-FREE dolphin and now they say I need an AD-FREE ray as well which doubles the cost of my site before I even get a single member.

I have looked all over Boonex for a way to just remove the shoutbox and the boonex news entirely, which hasn't been easy because there isn't a basic search on the boonex homepage. I've had to go through other sites and try to find answers.

Support has yet to live up to it's name. It's been days now and I still have news and shoutbox (with ads) on my site. I just want them gone. I will not officially launch my site until they are gone.

If anyone knows how to remove them please let me know.

I think you probably just need to delete the shout-box variable from the coding in your template header.

This is very simple to do. Go into the builders section of your admin. It is a drag and drop interface.

Just remove those blocks from public view. So not you have no more RSS on the index page and the also make the change in account builder.
'
Then you are done... You can also remove the shout box the same way.

Please explore your admin panel a little more. you will find that all the tools are there for you.

Regards
Simion

On a similar train of thought: I installed the free version of Dolphin, but then decided I don't like the ads, and paid the 99 AUD. I entered the license key at the login, but it doesn't seem that anything is different. Do I need to reinstall a different version?

WVought: Yes you will need to install Ad-Free because the ads are built into the flash files. You will need to use the Ad-Free to replace those files which connect to boonex to get the ads :/
