Where is the Ray desktop at?

from what i know, you download the package, install it on your computer, you set up teh settings in which teh users will use to connect to the website, then it recompiles a agent installer, with this you uplaod it and let you users downlaod it and install it on their computer.

From what i can tell. I haven't installed it on any sites so far. But that is what I assumed from my first time testing it.

Ok i think im following now. Im using the Dolphin 6.0 + Free Ray 3.1 + Orca 1.2 (8 Mb) and would need the Ray Desktop 3.1 Free (24 Mb) ALSO to make this work?

I have downloaded Desktop, installed it and created an agent, but there is no link in web prescence showing up ... ?

The app you installed goes to your own pc (start/programs/Ray Desktop) on a windows pc. From there you run the "Create downloadable" following their instructions with the proper params to make the app which goes to the programs/Agent folder. Now for others (including yourself) you run the desktop agent to install the actual app you will be using. This is what others will download after you upload to your server. That should get you somewhere . There are some fine tuning setting in the Admin plugins Ray base you will need to fill in also for mail video and chat to work properly.

To get Ray Desktop displayed in Ray Presence, go to admin --> Plugins --> Ray --> Ray Presence.
Click on the "Settings" icon and enter the url of your downloadable Ray desktop. Make sure that Ray desktop has been previously uploaded to your server.
Your are done! The link will automatically show in Ray Presence.

Hello all,

Got a problem with Ray !, I get the message "Not Installed" on Chat and Shout etc. Also from the Admin section under plugins, I cannot access the Ray Admin area. On mouse over I get javascript void(0) and when I click on Ray Suit i get error on page.

I've tried downloading the install file and running the agent but get a system error. Possibly because im using Vista ?

Im doing something terribly wrong.......

i am getting a 404 page not found error when i try to download the installer from boonex, anyone have a link to an installer i can snag from them?
