What's the Contributor status?

Contributor status isn't a service or product. Contributor status is:

1. A privilege: Contributors have access to the Contributor Forums, receive discounts on a number of products in Extensions, get an extra listing in the Contributors List, submit ads in Unity, and last - they can use Specials.


2. A membership level: Only having a contributor status (and higher membership levels) you get the right to post an ads box here at Unity. Purchasing a contributor status you are on your way to a higher membership levels - Expert, Pundit, Moderator, etc.

Why would you want to subscribe?

1. What you learn here has a real value and you would like to help fund costs that are associated with running the site and making it more popular and far more useful for all.
2. If you gain something from what you read or receive here then maybe it is just worth giving something back, even if only from the selfish viewpoint of keeping the whole thing going!
3. You get access to the private contributors' forums. They are made up of the best professionals sharing information on community software and effectively helping each other on the regular basis.
4. Your profile is marked as a "Contributor" profile, which effectively improves the willingness of other members to help you whenever possible.
5. You can save premium thanks to significant discounts voluntary provided by other members through the "Extensions" system.
6. You can make use of occasional special offers provided via Unity "Specials" system. Very often these offers alone can be valued many times more than a nominal Contributor status fee.
7. As a Contributor you are able to submit ads in Unity and promote BoonEx related products and services for free.
8. By purchasing contributor status you are on your way to begin great career here as an Expert or BoonEx pundit. You won't be a standard member anymore, even if it expires.

What are the contributor's benefits?

1. Special forum: Unity has two kinds of forums: Public - available for all members and visitors and Contributor's - available for contributors only.


2. Discounts: Experts who offer products here at Unity are ready to provide their items with special discounts (from 5% to 100%) available for Contributors only.


3. Submit ads in Unity: As a Contributor you are able to submit ads (upload banners) here at Unity and promote your products and services.


4. Specials: Besides discounts in Extensions and access to the Forum, Contributors are enjoying Specials from BoonEx. Getting a point will grant you free use of currently offered software for the period of your Contributor status BUT you may wish to use more than one product or use it for more than one domain. Then you may buy as many points (stars) as you want to broaden your privileges. Let's say you buy 2 points, than you are entitled to 3 free products offered here for the period paid (let it be 3 months) OR 1 special to use in 2 separate websites. The formula is: one star - one product/domain! To expand an example, after 1st month you decide to add 3 more points for a year, now we have 5 points in total, but only for 2 more months (3 minus 1 month) and 3 points will be active for the remaining 10 months ( 12 minus 2 months). Try to renew your membership before expiration, or your "Contributor Since" timestamp will be renewed and you will have lower rankings in the Contributors List.
