Fund Raiser

This version of our Donation series of modules has advanced functionality to allow Administration to collect a percentage of all payments recieved.

This mod allows site members to create campaigns so others could contribute to them. Contributions are done through Paypal.

Members can create Donation Campaigns stating :

a) the target amount
b) target date for achieving the amount
c) the purpose of the Campaign (for self, community, charity etc).
d) The level of seriousness (want or need)

GENERAL FUNCTIONALITY

Contributors can opt to remain anonymous and not shown in the Donors list. This is an important option as some persons would rather to contribute privately.

Non-Members can easily Donate without needing to create an Account on the site.

Administrator can configure a percentage to deduct from each Donation.

Progress is given for each campaign (desired target, amount received to date etc). The progress is represented in terms of percentage and also in the form of a progress bar.

Each campaign will list the persons who have contributed and the amount of contribution.

A campaign is marked as fulfilled after the target amount is reached.

There are Categories and Sub-Categories of Donation Types.


DONATION PERCENTAGE SPLIT

Administrator can setup Donations so that all of the funds are delivered to the Campaign Owner or some of the funds is retained by the site. This can be money earning facility for the site.


EXPORTING OF DONATIONS TO SPREADSHEET

Members can export the Donations received to a spreadsheet.

Administrator can export their Donation Earnings to a spreadsheet.

Top Donors are recognized by getting listed on the Hall of Fame page


NOTIFICATIONS

Thank you letter sent to Donor after they make Donation.

Notification letter sent to Campaign owner after they receive Donation.

Notification letter sent to Campaign owner when the Campaign has been fulfilled.

Notification letter sent to all persons who contributed to a Campaign, notifying them that the Campaign has been fulfilled.

Members can upload Photos and Files with their requests. This is useful if they want to attach documents supporting their requests (medical certificates etc)

Members can upload sound, in case they want to make a verbal request.

Viral invitation feature to allow members to Invite both site friends and external friends to contribute to their Campaign.

Social Sharing functionality that allows the sharing of a campaign on social sites such as digg, facebook, twitter etc.

Members can Subscribe to Donations Campaigns and get updates when there are changes to the request.
