Can someone install for me (paid)

pyrotech posted 10th of May 2008 in Community Voice. 10 comments.
My host say mbstring is available and php.ini available to alter.
Spent two weeks getting no where.
Willing to pay for someone to install.
Please email me for all details to get into server and messages from host.
Please specify how much to install.
One host ( not mine) offers for $5 but can not move to them easily.
Thanks
Any takers

Dude nobody is going to touch anything for $5. Save your money for a couple of months. Then purchase a host that can handle dolphin off the bat. Cyberhosting maybe, but there is plenty about 1/2 the price that will do the same, and then some.

Sorry was not offering $5 was just saying one host has that offer. willing to pay reasonable amount, nothing stupid but if anyone wants to offer then we can talk about amount. Can not afford loads as only a firefighter. But happy to pay for work

Ask your server if it can handle all dolphin requirements specially ffmpeg ask your host if its offering it and you can run .exe in your server too.

I know a very cheap webhosting that install it for free like what they did to me.

Yes CyberXing.com or Hostforweb is the only way to go and then you know you have all the requirments to run Dolphin.

What webhost are you currently using? That should be one of the first questions asked.

How much you want to spend I know of some decent shared hosts for about $6 per month. If you got tons of traffic then you will need to spend more.

Using hostingdude.com lots of web sites of mine hosted there and others i have hosted for friends so not possible to move hosts. I thought Dolphin was quite good but seems to be a bit of a con trick as only runs on a few hosts they recommend. Surely a good program would run on majority of hosts.

One thing I can say is DO NOT use http://www.apthost.com/ as they will promisse you free installation etc.....for RMS you'll have to sign up for a VPS package and guess what? For a week they'll try and get your RMS working and will not suceed....in the end they will tell u its an RMS bug so what you did is: changed your nameservers and since they arent delivering on their promise you'll have to do all of that again and no, you wont get your money back.....so, fair warning everyone stay away from see more these guys as they are a joke and expensive one at that :)

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
