I have installed RMS Linux. When I run ray.sh I get this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.net.BindException: Address already in use

What is wrong?

you have the correct ports open for this install/ you need to have ports 10000 and 10080 opened for this to run. as for if it will install or not is another story. i am going to try to install RMS 3.5.1 tonite. i will follow up with this post. i have 3.1 installed and working, but the port bindings are different. cyberxing posted the other day that he was successful in getting both Ray versions to run off of one RMS install. i have not heard back from him if this was going to be publicly released. see more

Hey DosDawg,

Thanks for the reply. I will ask my provider to open the ports. I hope it helps. I will await your follow up.

I have ports 10000 and 10080 open but same error

Your errors rather say that another application is already using some of the ports RMS 3.5 wants to listen on.

Is there a way to check if and by what RMS ports are being used?
