Go to templates/tmpl_uni . Open _footer.html . Therf you would be able to find the string which shows the links to boonex. Don't remove the string which displays copyright. To change copyright text,go to settings in admin, search for 'copyright' string in language settings. Change it to what u want. There wud be two copyright strings. Edit both of them.
You can remove footer Boonex links only if you have got adfree dolphin license.

OK... I followed your path.... (Im using newest version 7.04) - And my path is identical to yours until I get to the " templates/tmpl_uni "

After that All I have is CSS, images, or scripts... there simply is NO templates/tmpl_uni / _footer.html

Please advise?????
gkcgautam
Remove string which shows footer links in _footer.htm . You will also need to do the same for another page. I think it is page_1.html rest you can find.
sammie
pay for the Dolphin adfree and Orca licenses and poof, they go, all by themselves.
simple huh?
Well I purchased the unlimited time license but the footer is still there... What do I do????
gkcgautam
Oh! They go by themselves?? Didn't know about this...as i have not purchased it yet...
sammie
yup you just enter the correct licenses for the free or adfree and poof they are gone.
the free differs because it only effects the Ray stuff as free with ads, the free dolphin package can accept both a free or adfree dolphin license, enter the adfree and the boonex links and images are removed from all pages except orca
Technoman
yes thank you for explaining everything sammie and thanks to gkcgautam

I was able to remove it from the ADMIN in languages, that was all it took and once again thank you !

That sounds nice, sammie, but apparently for myself and many other, this simply doesn't work. A bug?

What about Orca? How do I remove the footer from Orca? I have purchased the license, but, still the Powered by text is at the bottom of the forums. Any help would be appreciated.

the powered by Dolphin text and even a rather large icon have just started appearing on my site http://thailandwebzone.com - does nayone know why it would just appear like this and more importantly how to remove it? I guess I will have to edit the footer as in this thread?
i have bought the licence, and have enter the licence through the admin panel in my dolphin 6.1.4, the licence key i bought was Dolphin

go to phpmyAdmin and find the GLPARAMS table. BROWSE. Second from last page of records there are three VALUES - enable_dolphin_footer, enable_orca_footer etc.
They are set to "on"
Edit them and remove the word "on"
Your footers will disappear but they will come back.
If you like the software, do as Sammie says and buy the license but this workaround is just to temporarily remove them while you demo your site.

I registered the product but every time i switch templates around it comes back. Anyway to keep it removed?
ladybugn
brianl,

could try what I just did, go into Advanced settings, make sure the license is still there, and re-save the page. For some reason it fed my registration back in and removed the footers again.

I am looking for the answer to this>> REMOVE ANY OF THESE LINKS >>>> " Links - News - Contact Us - About us - Privacy - Terms - FAQ - Add feedback - Invite a friend - Bookmark"<<<<

...just need to know what file it would be in re templates? ??
go to admin panel > setting> Manage Languages then search for each thing you want to remove, when you found it just mark it and click delete
So I entered my code and the Boonex add is still there what now ?

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
