First of all thankyou for not moderating the responses received to your post.

As someone that is considering Dolphin for a new venture I am concerned now with what I've read on the past history of bugs, lack of commitment to a quality base before moving on, and that employees / ex-employees are selling the bug fixes. I'm also concerned that there are no expectations set on the delivery timeframe.

Dolphin 7 that I've just (excitedly) hosted is sounding similar to a handyman that doesnt finish see more before working on the next job, and getting his mates to fix his problems for him at cost to the poor misled single mum.

While its going to drastically increase my startup time I will now have to look into other Social Networking Applications as the history of the technical development doesnt give a lot of confidence. Anyone that has worked in or has been a customer to some type of Software Development would know the importance of stability and I'm not getting that message from the post and its replies.

Dolphin v8 in concept looks excellent and I would love to see it live up to its dreams but you will need to do more to get it stable for new customers and to keep the community engaged and contributing for the existing customers.

Good luck with the development nonetheless, I'll be watching your progress with much anticipation.
