Adding Last and First Name to Search

I've looked in the Forums and Market, but haven't found a solution.

I'm looking to add fields to a search of Profiles.  If I'm on searchKeyword.php and Profile is checked, it only goes thru a limited amount of info and my members can't find their friends. It looks to be hard-coded into the PHP. Here's the page:
