Profile Cover Using The Profile Customize Module

geek_girl posted 12th of March 2015 in Community Voice. 2 comments.

This tutorial shows how to use the Profile Customizer module to turn the Sub-menu block into a Profile cover block as well; the original function of the Sub-menu blocks is not changed.  The idea is to allow members to adjust the height of the block and add borders and backgrounds to the block.   First step is to back up the files

Using Fancybox for photo thumbnails to view larger image

geek_girl posted 2nd of April 2013 in Community Voice. 8 comments.

Boonex added Fancybox jquery lightbox to the distribution but seems to only be using it for viewing the blog attached image thing.  What a waste.  However, with a bit of rewriting the code, we can use fancybox to view the larger image of a thumbnail.  We will maintain the link under the thumbnail so we can still visit the photo

Add Confirmation to Blocking a Member

geek_girl posted 14th of December 2012 in Community Voice. 4 comments.

I have had members to accidentally block others because the block action does not have a confirmation; it posts a notice but it is possible for members to overlook the notice and to accidentally click on the block button; yes, it has happened more than once.  There is a solution; one needs to add a confirm() to the block action.
