Upgrade Instructions from 7.0 RC to 7.0 RC2

Step 0: Back up your Dolphin 7.0 RC files, folders and database.

NOTE: This upgrade will work with RC version ONLY. Do not try this upgrade with other versions like BetaX

Step 1: Get Dolphin 7.0 RC2 and upload files (from RC2) to your current installation replacing all files of RC version.

Step 2: Remove upgrade/.htaccess file and install folder via FTP or SSH. Note that you may need to change your FTP client settings to show hidden files to see .htaccess file in your FTP manager.

Step 3: Run the following script: http://your-site.com/your-path/upgrade/ . It will show the list of updates.

Step 4: Apply all available updates. Upgrade script will guide you through step-by-step. Also this script detects suitable updates automatically.

Step 5: Please follow and read all automatically completed steps of the upgrade script drawing a special attention to the last step. The last step of this upgrade is IMPORTANT. You will be given special instructions by the script which you will have to do MANUALLY.

Step 6: Report any occurred bugs which are related to this particular (RC -> RC2) upgrade performance in ​Betas and RCs forums.

NOTE: You can also update your custom language translations if you create appropriate translated files for your custom language, BEFORE UPGRADE PROCESS, in upgrade/files/7.0.0.RC-7.0.0.RC2/ and upgrade/files/7.0.0.RC-7.0.0.RC2/modules/*/ directories. There are lang_en.php files by default in these directories. Create translated copy of lang_en.php for your custom language. For example, if you have the Russian language installed you can add lang_ru.php files then all new language keys for your custom language will be added automatically.
