A Ticket Sales Mod for Events?

I've been looking around on the market and can't find if anyone has put out a mod for ticket sales on your site along with an event (allowing any member to create an event and add ticket sales, sort of like ticketderby). Is there one in existence, or can this be done with the existing store mod?? Thanks!

Would it not be better to just create the event then put the tickets in the store and link from the event pages to the store page to buy the tickets.

Of corse this way the member creating the event would have to have put his payment details on his profile.

You could ad a navigation button to the events pages in the actions paign that is listed add tickets that links to the store

Did anyone make this mod in the end?

I started one but then left it hanging in the 'in development' pool. If five or more persons show interest in this I will consider taking up the task again.

Suggestion - if this was to go ahead, would ideally need to be able to offer multiple ticket levels within and event, and allow facility to differentiate between ticket levels.

Would be great if it has a feature where if a member organises an event, there's an option for a certain percentage of the ticket sales to go to the site admin.

Like Paypal Adaptive Payments.

That way the site can also generate revenue.

Tickets need to be Watermarked or numbered for security...... Another must would be the ability to set seat numbers and rows for sale. That way ticket prices can vary on whether they want close seats or further back ones...... Must have ;)

About sets and rows: We will take it into account for the future versions, but I am not sure that it will useful for other vendors.
We can think over it as custom modification. You may contact us via inbox, if you are interested in it.

About tickets number: By default, when user buys something via Dolphin's cart system he/she gets transaction id number and can see price here as well. I think, this number can be used as unique code for purchased tickets.
