Duplicte notifications for friendship request

Why there are Duplicate notifications for friendship request. And in second picture the user with friend request should not appear in connections until you accept their friendship request.

Connections - I don't see anything wrong here, since at appears as friend request.

 I think appearance of friend request in connection generate duplicate records cause you click accept 2 times.  So better to have friend request only in 1 place.

By default it should look like this when you a user open a friend notification page in communicator.php . Receiving friend request in 2 blocks doesn't make sense.

But right now it is still like same old same old.

I can't reproduce it, please could you describe the steps on how to reproduce it?

1. A friend send you request you get notification.

2. you click on notification and land on communicator.php page, showing friend request in two blocks

    connections block and friend request block. like shown below.

3. if you accept request in either of the blocks other won't go away, still showing the option to accept or reject.

   so if you click accept in second block it will create another notifications.

so logically there is no need to show friend request in 2 different blocks, specially in connection block cause friend request block is meant for accepting/rejecting friend request in first place. So it would be nice along with the friend request in friend request block, we could see our existing friends connection block.

It is not a bug but just a suggestion to reduce the confusion which 1 to click to accept friend request and more over it will give the user an opportunity to interact with existing friends if they haven't been in touch for a long time.

Actually this page can be changed in page builders and right column can be removed, then it will not be possible to accept friend requests from this page.
