This one contain a new field type called HyperText which in it's turn have 2 new options in Advanced section. Hypertext wrap - used as a wrapper text to display URL address if specified. Use Caption instead - overrides previous option. Forces field to display hyperlink text using the Caption text. If none of this options specified - normal URL printed as specified in Text control.

 Has this been tested for html links in profiles on 6.1.2, any feedback as to any known issuses.

Seems a lot of work was done here, with no responce from anyone, so must be working ok.

What I can not understand, why this is not a standard feature in Dolphin.

Good job Vespan, and yes, this absolutely should be a feature of Dolphin.  Hopefully, since it is a free mod, they will adapt the code.

I agree on all counts Rob, that is why I bumped it up, there is no reason not to have this as a standard feature.

and similar to this mod, I would like a mod for /www/templates/base/scripts/BxBaseProfileView.php that does the following:

A Paypal button that would be generated based on two fields:  _Price & _PayPalID in the edit profile menu.  If the PayPal ID field is filled out, then the button displays, but if it is left blank, nothing shows up.  Can someone help with something like this.....:

<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="_PayPalID">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Session">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="_Price">
<input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="0">
<input type="hidden" name="logo_custom" value="http://www.freudslist.com/templates/tmpl_uni/images/schedulenow.gif">
<input type="hidden" name="no_note" value="1">
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">
<input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US">
<input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-BuyNowBF">
<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_paynow_SM.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way

to pay online!">
<img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
</form>

I have just tried it on 6.1.4. When I try to change a field I received a 'database query error' message. Has anyone else had this problem or know what I might be doing wrong?

Excellent idea, though. I am very keen to get it to work. I agree with the rest of you; it would be excellent to have as a standard feature.

Not sure if there is anything updated for this, but I am looking for this exact topic and this is the closest I've come to it.

I am not able to open this link, can someone please contact me to email it to me or point me in the direction of how to go about adding html links in profiles.

Thank you so much for your help.
