Bug in events module

Hi Guys,

I've found this bug while adding events. When I added a new event, it didn't show in the "Events" block in my homepage. What you will see instead is "Sorry Nothing Found". You can check this out at http://yabangpinoythecommunity.com/index.php

However, if you click Events menu bar, there's an available events albeit missing thumbnail image. Please see http://yabangpinoythecommunity.com/events

Now if you click that link,it looks fine. Now my problem why I got that "Sorry Nothing Found" in the Events block of my home page+ why there's a missing thumbnail in the events page. Finally, what does "Choose period *(in days)" field mean when adding a new event?

Please help.

Thanks,
Sam

I have exactly the same problem.   Events only show when I click menu bar Events, where it then shows without thumbnail.  If anyone has solution, please post.

Are you create events in admin section?

Only in this case you can choose "Choose period ......'  property

From user side here just date of starting event

So, if you create event as admin (in admin side), owner of this event become Admin, this events not showed at index page, now here only members events.

Admin events will appear at index page in 6.2

Hi there,

I posted a separate topic on this forum in regards to these problems.

When you are the Admin and you add an event:

1) process fails to create an "icon" image and names the thumbnail image incorrectly. This is why there are no pictures. Missing code.

2) Admin created events don't show up in events box. member created events have no problem. This requires adjusting 1 of the joins in a select query.

See my topic on this.

Thanks,

Ozzie
