Hi,

Just wondering ... is boonex website done with dolphin ?

If yes, the job is pretty cool, if no, can you please tell me what you are using.

Love dolphin (already 3 website) but i am looking for a more CMS plate-forme for a new project ... still working well with member, events and all dolphin  nice stuff ... but more CMS oriented.

Please, tell me more :)

BoonEx uses their own CMS for this site, which uses its own code, as well as code from their other scripts, such as Orca, Dolphin, and Trident.

They have never heard of dogfooding.

No way to have access to this CMS ? :)

It's an internal script, that's all I know. You should be able to use Dolphin for a standard CMS (I've done it plenty of times). Just keep the social parts uninstalled and make changes to the layout where necessary. If not, there's plenty of basic scripts out there to do what you're probably looking for.

I remember an old announcement saying that Unity would be Dolphin but maybe they had trouble getting it to work right. Then no one would help them in the forums and their agent errrrr they didn't want to pay for support.

That's sad ... I will try to modify dolphin then to be able to do what i need, or to include it in some wordpress CMS.

We use early builds of Trident, which in time will be the base for Dolphin 8.

Trident = Apophis

It may hit or may not...

Kinda keep guessing game???

It's only a matter of time. Dolphin 7.1 is to be a product of the near-future. Trident - a bit more distant future. And it's OK, it's the way things should be.
tomakali
If Trident is at a distant
will there be api for games and applications like fb?
thats worth waiting...

if D8 gona be a makeover change without any new challenges...
thats sad!!!

why don't publish this early build (wich look stable on boonex website) and leave the community to help you making a better product ?
Nathan Paton
I assume it's not ready for public consumption.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
