Dying! Can anyone help me with a Windows install or is this hopeless?

This process is killing me. I have gone through all of the FAQ's install guides Tracs, etc. I now get the startup install but after I enter everything it just displays a blank page with no errors. I have error handling in PHP turned on and all. I really need some help to this demo site working.

Okay so remove your .htaccess file and that might fix it.

I have deleted it. Added to it.. Taken away from it and still enter all my site data then HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Internet Explorer ..
Does it just not work on Windows??

The short answer is no... and if you're using Godaddy you will pull your hair out trying to make it work with Windows OR Linux.. just switch hosts.
