How do I remove the sex and date of birth on profile views?

Hi!I want to remove the sex and date of birth fields visible not only on the view profile page but also from the search result page. I am aware that I shouldn't delete those, but make them invisible, however when I did that on admin side, the sex field still appears on the search members result page??????? I am confused...
Also, why when I do search all members I can't get any results?, I logged off as admin and tested that search, but nothing appears, and I have two test members???
Please let me know, anyone?

You have to add the Date Of birth back to the join form, because Dolphin needs that information to return search results. (Thanks to Sammie for that tip.)
I just did that and it works for getting search results to display. I changed the label for Date Of birth to 'Date Joined' and changed the minimum age to join to 0.
I, too, am interested in getting the 'male from' off the search results page. I'm assuming that search.php has to be mdified, but i haven't found the specific line yet.
